During my time serving as your Council Member and Mayor over the past 4 years, we have successfully delivered on our committments to improve the quality of life for the residents of Buena Park. Our efforts have resulted in enhanced city services, vital support for small businesses and local economy, and bolstered public safety in our neighborhoods. I earnestly seek your vote, as there is more work to be done.
PUBLIC SAFETY
Invested in public safety by hiring new officers, upgrading security cameras, and launching catalytic converter engraving programs - to keep families safe. INTERNET ACCESS
Initiated a plan to bring high-speed fiber internet to EVERY home and business in Buena Park. . HOUSING
Approved nearly 2,000 new affordable, market-rate, and senior housing units. I'll continue to work for appropriate traffic mitigations, community benefits for parks and infrastructure, and continue to prioritize affordable units that allow our kids to stay close when they're ready to be on their own. |
PARKS & PROGRAMS
Completed the section of the Silverado Trail next to Dysinger Elementary and renovated Peak Park and Boisseranc Park pools. Directed staff to state grants for the planting and maintenance of more trees. LOCAL BUSINESSES & ECONOMY
Led improvements on Beach Blvd., including a surf park, multiple high-end hotels, and new restaurants - all coming soon. SUPPORT FOR LOCAL WORKERS
Adopted a Community Workforce Agreement to bring good-paying jobs with a local hire preference for Buena Park residents. |
